The Bar Lev Industrial Park, named after the late Haim Bar Lev who served, among his other many public offices, as Minister of Trade and Industry. The site has very similar characteristics to those of Tefen and Teradion in regard to topography and environmental sensitivity. In addition, the site falls partly under the jurisdiction of the Segev Regional Council and partly under that of Mateh Asher. Because of the limited land reserves for industry in the city of Carmiel a joint corporate body was established with representatives from the three local authorities. This body has established the park management which formulates development policy. Income deriving from rates, levies and taxes are shared by the three authorities.

פארק התעשייה בר לב, על שמו של חיים בר לב ז"ל שכיהן, בין יתר תפקידיו הציבוריים הרבים, כשר המסחר והתעשייה. לאתר מאפיינים דומים מאוד לאלו של תפן וטריון בכל הנוגע לטופוגרפיה ורגישות סביבתית. כמו כן, האתר נמצא בחלקו בתחום השיפוט של המועצה האזורית שגב ובחלקו בסמכותה של מטה אשר. בגלל עתודות הקרקע המצומצמות לתעשייה בעיר כרמיאל הוקם גוף תאגידי משותף עם נציגים משלוש הרשויות המקומיות. גוף זה הקים את הנהלת הפארק שמגבשת מדיניות פיתוח. ההכנסות הנובעות מתעריפים, היטלים ומסים חולקים בין שלוש הרשויות.
