The Jerusalem Technology Park at Malha, is an example of planned, mixed-use area development, including up-market housing, a shopping mall, sport stadium, public transportation node and a Hight-tech park. The Technology Park was planned as a campus of 10 buildings arranged around a central park. The facades and roofs have been designed to accommodate electromechanical systems. Since the site is visible from the surrounding hills, special attention was paid to the treatment of the roofs. The central park affords a quiet oasis of serenity in a busy urban setting and displays the sculpture of Mr. Buki Schwartz in the form of letters from the Hebrew alphabet. These ancient letters stand in sharp contrast to the cutting edge technology on the campus.
