Part of the Menashe Water Works involved the channeling of water across the site of the industrial park. Originally this was done between two large earth embankments which covered a large land area. Instead of this an elevated aqueduct was constructed. The value of the land released more than covered the cost of the construction. The aqueduct is now a feature within the park and is reminiscent of similar engineering works carried out by the Romans many years ago.
